The New Bioenno Power 160 Watt Hour Renewable Power Pack, Model BPP-160, replaces the legacy BPP-120 Power Pack with expanded watt-hour capacity, increased run-time, 2 x AC outlets, all in a portable configuration.  The BPP-160 continues where the BPP-120 left off, with some great enhancements!   Users include Ham Radio operators (for QRP radios under 10 Watts), corporate customers using it for OEM purposes and government agencies actively using it in the field. This ultra light, compact power system offers fully integrated features including not only DC output and 2 AC outputs but standard charging and in-built solar compatibility. This when combined with our unique intelligent micro-computer control system (PCM), 2000+ charge cycles at 5-10+ years and up to 90% discharge capability this make an unbeatable product. The BPP-160 weighs only 3.5 pounds outputs DC, AC and is chargeable through not only the grid but also the sun! Not only that, the BPP-160 features an at-a-glance LCD display showing capacity and usage and features our advanced computer control system. Direct Solar Compatibility: The BSP-28 foldable solar panel which outputs 28 Watts allows for direct plugging into the BPP-160 and also chaining of two (or more) of them in at the same time achieving twice the charge speed!

This unit includes an external Red/Black Powerpole PP45 conversion box for exact voltage match to all QRP ham radio equipment at 13.8VDC.  

Please note that the BPP-160 is intended for QRP radios under 10 Watts because of the current limit through the DC output on the unit.  QRP radios would include Yaesu 817, 818, Elecraft KX2, KX3, ICOM 705, and handhelds, among others.  If you are looking to run 50W PEP or 100W PEP radios, we strongly recommend to use the "BLF-" series battery products mentioned under the 12V series LiFePO4 battery section on the site that have the high amperage circuit boards built in for use with those radios and tailored operating voltage and operating current for 50W to 100W PEP radios.
